It’s appreciate for you to attend the 10th edition of HNC organized by CCCMHPIE and Sinoexpo Informa Markets last week. As you know, it is the first time for HNC to move to National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) and to be interconnected with all the co-located food shows, covering the industry chains from health food, senior care products and services, food ingredients to food processing and packaging. The wholes food series shows took 5 halls in NECC to create an unprecedented trading platform with 140,000 m2 show area and 1,800 global exhibitors, attracting more than 74,532 professional buyers and visitors together. Meanwhile, CPhI & P-MEC China occupied 17 halls in SNIEC were linked to shows in NECC, jointly building the 350,000 m2 dual industry chain events for food & pharmacy.

HNC,the finished products exhibition of the health industry in China,reached 30,000 m2 show area this year, and gathered more than 500 well-known exhibitors and 30,463 visitors to discover their business onsite, which grew 21% than last year. Besides, overseas exhibitors have once again exerted their strength and reached a record high in the exhibition area and country, welcoming the health and nutrition giants on all continents. After ten years of efforts, HNC has developed into a truly international industrial platform with global large-scale and international brand influence, successfully achieving the world's focus on China. The success of HNC's 10th anniversary also proved that the growth potential of the health care industry comes from the consumption upgrade and the improvement of people's health awareness.

HNC Internationalization Increased Again With 50% International Brands

Positioned in the middle and high-end nutraceutical products market, HNC 2019 is delighted to welcome the historic increase in the proportion of international exhibitors. The overseas pavilion covered an area of 15,000 m2, which is half of the total show area. HNC has been recognized as one of the most internationalized health and nutrition exhibitions, and is regarded by overseas brands as an excellent channel to expand the market in China and even in Asia. International exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions have brought international leading brands to HNC. Apart from the expansion of the Australian pavilion and the New Zealand pavilion, many newcomers such as Norway, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Thailand, Greece, Italy, India, Singapore and Malaysia are also unveiled on HNC to showcase the latest products and find domestic partners.

In addition to the international high-end brands, HNC 2019 presented product characteristics of category diversification and highlighting the segmentation of the market. In addition to exhibiting and promoting Chinese traditional culture, traditional health supplements such as ganoderma lucidum, ginseng, swiftlet nest, dendrobium and Cordyceps sinensis, and dietary nutritional supplements from overseas accounted for more than half of the exhibition.
